Stewart P. David
February 15, 1961- June 28, 2013

It is with grieving hearts that we must anounce the passing of David at his home. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, he is survived by his mother Pat, father Chuck, brothers Dell (Carma), Charlie, sister Christine (Barclay), nephews Coty and Marlin, nieces Roxanne and Brandi as well as uncles, aunts and cousins in Regina, Saskatoon, Vancouver Island and Petawawa. His devoted canine companion, TJ, who he raised, trained and loved for the past seven years.

Dave graduated from South Delta Secondary School in 1979 with a Scholarship award in Excellence. He was a member of the Sun Devils basketball team. He went on to UBC, earning a B.A. in Economics and LLB from the Faculty of Law. His decision to join the RCMP sent him to Regina for training and a posting to Toronto. Dave returned to the coast to Article with the Attorney General's Department in Victoria and was called to the Bar in 1992. He was then employed by the Insurance Council of B.C. in Vancouver as Director of Policy and Legislation. In 2002 he joined (WCB) WorkSafeBC as Assistance Director of Investigations. He holds a Certified Management Accounting designation and is a past Director and VP of the B.C. Council of Administrative Tribunals.

Dave was a devotee of History, Film and Politics. He always enjoyed a lively debate. When his sense of humor came to the fore it was 'laugh' time. Ever generous with his friends and family he was always ready to be of assistance. He will be sadly missed.

A Private Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC.

A donation to your Charity of choice in David's name would be appreciated.
